(Intelliga) user privacy is important to us. We want you to feel
confident using our associateteacher.ca website and all related software (Software)
This Privacy Statement outlines the privacy practices regarding information
collected by the Software and Intelliga.
Intelliga collects business information necessary to enable us to respond to your requests for our products and services and to send you information regarding our products and services from time to time. Intelliga will not provide any outside organizations with individual or licensing organizations’ information, other than to those licencing organizations utilizing the software.
Associateteacher.ca and its’ software components, including AssociateECE, are a hosted web site and is provided to licensing organizations to complete their work.
The Software collects and contains personal information such as name, email address, location, biography information and other similar information provided by the account holder. All personal information is supplied by the account holder and maintained by the account holder through the web site. From time to time, Intelliga needs to access the database and the web site to maintain, upgrade, correct information or import data and to enhance the performance of the software. Intelliga uses the data for licencing organizations to complete their work. Intelliga uses the data to complete its’ work and to improve the software.
Intelliga servers are hosted by a third party. All reasonable precautions have been implemented to protect your data. Should a breach of data occur, you will be notified of the breach and the extent of the breach. Intelliga software maintains minimal data on participants and only sufficient information to utilize the features of the software. Data is backed up to several on-site and off-site locations.
From time to time Intelliga may ask users to participate in a survey about the software and seek their comments on its performance. All surveys are anonymous and no personal data is connected in any way to the survey results.
Intelliga collects aggregate data to use with presentations and to further develop the product. At no time is the data shared with other parties, other than licencing organizations, identifiable to individuals. From time to time, at the request of the licensing organizations, Intelliga prepares custom reports to share with the organizations. This information is only available to Intelliga and the licensing organization.
Despite all security measures, Intelliga does not represent or warrant that business information contained in the data will be protected against loss, misuse, attacks or alteration by third parties.
From time to time, Intelliga may be required to release your information: 1) to comply with valid legal requirements such as law, regulation, search warrant, subpoena or court order; 2) to enforce our license agreement; or 3) in special cases such as protecting the rights, property and safety of Intelliga or our customers or others.
Intelliga may change the Privacy Statement at any time by posting or emailing the then current policy statement to the account holder and the licensing organizations. Your use of the site constitutes acceptance of the provisions in this Privacy Statement and your continued usage after such changes are posted or emailed constitutes acceptance of each revised Privacy Statement.

Welcome to Intelliga! Thanks for using associateteacher.ca, its' software and services (“Services”).
By using our Services, you are agreeing to these terms. Please read them carefully.
Additional terms may be available with the relevant Services, and those additional terms become part of your agreement with us if you use those Services. You must follow any policies made available to you within the Services.
Don’t misuse our Services. For example, don’t interfere with our Services or try to access them using a method other than the interface and the instructions that we provide. You may use our Services only as permitted by law. We may suspend or stop providing our Services to you if you do not comply with our terms or policies or if we are investigating suspected misconduct.
Using our Services does not give you ownership of any intellectual property rights in our Services or the content you access. You may not use content from our Services unless you obtain written permission.
Our Services display content supplied by you and by participating authorized users. This content is the sole responsibility of the entity that makes it available. We may review content to determine whether it is illegal or violates our policies, and we may remove or refuse to display content that we reasonably believe violates our policies or the law. But that does not necessarily mean that we review content, so please don’t assume that we do.
In connection with your use of the Services, we may send you service announcements, administrative messages, and other information. You may opt out of some of those communications.
Some of our Services are available on mobile devices. Do not use such Services in a way that distracts you and prevents you from obeying traffic or safety laws.
You need an associateteacher.ca account and/or associateECE account in order to use our Services. You create your own associateteacher.ca and/or associateECE Account. To protect your account, keep your password confidential. You are responsible for the activity that happens on or through your account. To report abuse of your account, use the Contact Us Form at www.associateteacher.ca.
When you complete your PROFILE and BLOCKS (if required), the data is used by Intelliga and its authorized users to complete their work. The data is used by Intelliga and its authorized users and may be distributed to other parties as information to help them with their work.
Intelliga's Privacy Policy explains how we treat your personal data and protect your privacy when you use our Services. By using our Services, you agree that Intelliga can use such data in accordance with our privacy policies
Associateteacher.ca and its authorized users generate automatic emails to complete its work while using the Services. You agree to receive these emails.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Services or included software, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of that software, unless laws prohibit those restrictions or you have our written permission.
We are constantly changing and improving our Services. We may add or remove functionalities or features, and we may suspend or stop a Service altogether.
You can stop using our Services at any time, although we’ll be sorry to see you go. Associateteacher.ca, may also stop providing Services to you, or add or create new limits to our Services at any time.
We believe that you own your data and preserving your access to such data is important. If we discontinue a Service, where reasonably possible, we will give you reasonable advance notice and a chance to get information out of that Service.
We provide our Services using a commercially reasonable level of skill and care and we hope that you will enjoy using them. But there are certain things that we don’t promise about our Services.
Other than as expressly set out in these terms or additional terms, neither Intelliga nor its authorized users make any specific promises about the Services. For example, we don’t make any commitments about the content within the Services, the specific functions of the Services, or their reliability, availability, or ability to meet your needs. We provide the Services “as is”.
Some jurisdictions provide for certain warranties, like the implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties.
When permitted by law, Intelliga will not be responsible for lost profits, revenues, or data, financial losses or indirect, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages.
To the extent permitted by law, the total liability of Intelliga, its suppliers and distributors, for any claims under these terms, including for any implied warranties, is limited to the amount you paid us to use the Services (or, if we choose, to supplying you the Services again).
In all cases, Intelliga, and its suppliers and distributors, will not be liable for any loss or damage that is not reasonably foreseeable.

If you are an authorized user or public/private institution using the Services, you will hold harmless and indemnify Intelliga, its officers, agents, and employees from any claim, suit or action arising from or related to the use of the Services or violation of these terms, including any liability or expense arising from claims, losses, damages, suits, judgments, litigation costs and attorneys’ fees.
We may modify these terms or any additional terms that apply to a Service to, for example, reflect changes to the law or changes to our Services. You should look at the terms regularly. We’ll post notice of modifications to these terms on this page. Changes addressing new functions for a Service or other changes or changes made for legal reasons will be effective immediately. If you do not agree to the modified terms for a Service, you should discontinue your use of that Service.
These terms control the relationship between Intelliga and you. They do not create any third party beneficiary rights.
If you do not comply with these terms, and we don’t take action right away, this doesn’t mean that we are giving up any rights that we may have (such as taking action in the future).
If it turns out that a particular term is not enforceable, this will not affect any other terms.
